According to MGen Balutan, the donated medicines will be distributed to the internally displaced persons (IDPs) in evacuation camps through the cluster of health with support from the NIMT.
Balutan has directed the Iligan branch to extend help for families and soldiers affected by the clash in case they will ask for help.
He also issued a memorandum addressed to all PCSO employees nationwide, including Small Town Lottery Authorized Agent Corporations (AACs) directing them to observe and participate in the implementation of security measures in Mindanao.
Helping one another in crisis, 'Doctor to the Barrio' and Rural Health Physician Charles Marquez expressed his gratitude to a village chief in Iligan City and the emergency management team of the Iligan City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (ICDRRMO) for the help extended in hauling the medicines intended for the Marawi crisis.
