MANILA, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed and two others injured in a road crash in the Philippine capital before dawn Monday, authorities said.
Traffic enforcers said the accident occurred at 2:36 a.m. local time after a truck collided with a car along the northbound lane of a circumferential road in Pasig City, a Metro Manila suburb.
Two female passengers were crushed to death while two others were injured, including the male driver, added the enforcers.
The truck reportedly fled.
Police are investigating the fatal hit-and-run collision.
