BEIJING, Aug. 12 (Xinhua) -- China's commerce ministry announced Tuesday that it has continued to suspend or removed export-control measures on some U.S. entities from Tuesday, in line with the consensus reached during the high-level China-U.S. economic and trade meeting in Stockholm.
The Ministry of Commerce added 28 U.S. entities to the export-control list on April 4 and 9, 2025, prohibiting the export of dual-use items to them.
On May 14, the ministry announced the suspension of export-control measures on the 28 U.S. entities for 90 days.
On Tuesday's statement, the ministry said that for the 16 U.S. entities added to the list on April 4, the related measures remain suspended for an additional 90 days.
For the 12 U.S. entities placed on the list on April 9, the related measures are lifted, it said.
Exporters intending to supply dual-use items to the above-mentioned entities must file applications with the ministry in accordance with relevant regulations. The ministry will review the applications in line with laws and regulations and grant permissions if requirements are met.
