At least five people have reportedly been killed and several others injured after two gunmen opened fire at a Hanukkah celebration at a beach in Sydney, Australia, according to media reports.
The incident occurred on Sunday evening at Bondi Beach in Sydney. Footage posted online showed two individuals in black firing weapons toward crowds, prompting hundreds to flee in panic as emergency services raced to the scene.
Authorities have confirmed that there are casualties, though exact numbers and conditions have not yet been released. Residents have been urged to avoid the area and follow all police directions.
In a post on X, local police said the gunmen have been apprehended, and are currently in police custody.
