SINGAPORE - Singapore Airlines will introduce Airbus A380 services on its daily Dubai–Singapore route from 29 March 2026, marking the return of the airline's flagship aircraft to one of its key Middle East connections.
The move will significantly enhance capacity and onboard offerings on the route, while maintaining the existing daily service frequency between the two cities, the airline said in a statement Wednesday.
Under the revised schedule, flight SQ495 will depart Dubai at 7:45pm, arriving in Singapore at 7:30am the following day. The return service, SQ494, will depart Singapore at 2:40pm and arrive in Dubai at 6:00pm. Both flights will be operated by the Airbus A380-800 aircraft.
The airline said the deployment of the double-deck aircraft will deliver an elevated travel experience across all cabin classes.
The A380's spacious design allows for larger private Suites.
Fully flat Business Class seats with direct aisle access, and enhanced Premium Economy and Economy Class cabins featuring wider seating, improved recline and upgraded comfort features also feature.
Passengers will also benefit from a quieter cabin environment, improved inflight entertainment and a significant increase in total seat capacity, including additional premium and economy seating to meet growing demand on the route.
All customers travelling on the A380 will continue to enjoy complimentary unlimited inflight Wi-Fi, subject to eligibility. This includes unlimited access for Suites and Business Class customers, PPS Club members and supplementary cardholders, as well as Economy Class passengers who are KrisFlyer members.
The aircraft will also feature Singapore Airlines' KrisWorld inflight entertainment system, offering a wide selection of movies, television programmes, music and games displayed on high-definition touchscreens. Screen sizes vary by cabin class, reaching up to 32 inches in the Suites. Passengers can personalise their entertainment experience by creating playlists in advance through the Singapore Airlines mobile app.
Beyond Singapore, travellers arriving on the Dubai service will have access to convenient onward connections to more than 100 destinations across Singapore Airlines' global network.
Singapore Airlines said flight timings remain subject to operational changes, and intended passengers are advised to check the latest schedules prior to travel.
