AJMAN, 14th January, 2026 (WAM) -- An official delegation from Ajman Transport has visited China to explore advanced smart solutions and opportunities for technical cooperation, holding a meeting with officials from Dahua Technology to discuss the development of smart transport systems.
The meeting, held at the company's headquarters, reviewed the latest innovations in integrated smart in-vehicle solutions, including vehicle tracking systems, safety monitoring technologies, smart payment solutions and fleet management systems. It also highlighted global best practices in smart transport and ways to enhance integration between intelligent systems and transport infrastructure.
Led by Omar Mohammed Lootah, Director-General of Ajman Transport Authority, the delegation discussed potential areas for future cooperation in developing smart systems for taxi vehicles and public transport buses to improve operational efficiency, enhance user experience, and support the authority's digital transformation objectives and service quality.
Lootah said the meeting forms part of the visit's programme and reflects the authority's commitment to adopting innovative solutions and advanced technologies that strengthen the efficiency of Ajman's transport ecosystem.
