High-speed trains across China are getting ready for the country's upcoming annual Spring Festival travel rush, also known as chunyun, which begins on Feb. 2 in 2026. Each year during this peak travel season, millions of people working, studying or living away from their hometowns return home for the Spring Festival, China's most important traditional holiday, forming the world's largest annual human migration.
